Saying the wrong thing is something I’m becoming increasingly good at. I don’t intentionally do it. My tongue just has a habit of running with the first thing it thinks off. It used to check with my brain to see if what I was about to say was offensive or just bang out of order but these days it just says the first thing that comes to mind. It can lead to some tricky situations. A man in my position spends a great deal of his time mocking. Unfortunately, there are those in my world who do not not have a sense of humour and these are the people I have very little time for. If I were to have a motto, it would probably be something like “If you can’t laugh at yourself then laugh at us laughing at you” or “If you’re afraid of looking stupid, why do you insist on being yourself'”.
