For some reason Jill Y spends a great deal of her time telling me how imperfect I am but I’ve learned so much from her. I’ve learned that:
- I am only capable of doing one thing at a time
- I never put the toilet seat down
- I don’t listen to her
- I don’t clean enough
- I can’t cook
- I always forget her b’day
- I like to go out with my mates
- I like good films instead of rom com’s
- I don’t express my feelings enough
- I don’t compliment her enough
This is merely the beginning of the list but you get the idea. Jill Y of course, is just perfect or at least she must think she is because I’ve never had the desire to point out any of her imperfections. Note to self: Start pointing out Jill Y’s imperfections.
Because I’m an ever evolving animal, I’ve decided to learn to cook. At the very least, it will shut her up long enough for me to remember the good times. I found a book ‘How to cook everything’ but because she constantly kicks my confidence in the head, I’m afraid I’ll do something wrong:
